Parentage unknown - considered to be blackberry crossed with Loganberry or red raspberry.

Very large (8.0g), deep maroon, large seed.

Where Grown:
Northwest US (Oregon and Washington)

Growing Season:
Fresh season is typically July 10 - August 10.

Primary Use:
Pies, Pastry, Jams, Jellies, Flavoring and Toppings.

Similar to a blackberry, larger, longer, not as deep purple in color - more reddish-purple - tarter.
